A good morning meeting is held by specialist psychologists before or after individual sessions.

How can I bring my relative who refuses treatment ?

In cases where the person resists treatment, it is important for a trusted individual from their family or close circle to explain the situation to them in the simplest terms and convince them to accept the treatment.

While convincing is important, in some cases where there is a risk of the patient harming themselves or others, information can be obtained from the Hospital On-Call Doctor, and support can be provided by an experienced ambulance team.

In some cases, with a letter from the Community Mental Health Centers of the district where the patient resides, an application is made to the District Governor's Office, and the patient is brought to the hospital by ambulance accompanied by a police vehicle assigned by the District Governor's Office.

Can health teams come and take the patient from home ?

Our hospital has a contracted ambulance service available for patients who are not resistant to treatment, including geriatric patients.

Can dependent patients be treated without their consent?

Addiction treatment occurs with the person's own consent and willingness.

Forced admission or addiction treatments with family consent are not successful.

According to Turkish law, 'every individual over the age of 18 has the right to receive treatment or refuse treatment of their own free will.'
